There comes a time in everyone’s life where we are faced with a fork in the road.  Sometimes that fork is anticipated or foreseen from afar, while other times a series of fortunate or unfortunate events occur leaving you with that difficult but exciting choice.  It’s crucial that we each take some time in our lives to slow down and realize what is important in our life and if that resides on the path you wish to travel.  Businesses check their inventory daily but too many times we go days, or even weeks before sitting down to think of what we are grateful for.  This simple life exercise is necessary for intellectual  human development and growth.  Just like a grocery store would never remain in business without taking inventory – you’ll never achieve happiness and find your passion in life without taking inventory on your life.

Reflection should be a constant personal reminder for us all to always do and be the best in every aspect of our lives.  Is it exhausting?  You bet ya it is.  Is it rewarding?  Absolutely.  You’ll create healthy internal competition that will bring out the truth in your actions.

Don’t you feel incredible when you go out of your way and do something unexpected for someone that you care about?  For that split second in time when you surprise someone and they shine uncontrollably with sheer joy, it’s priceless.  I wish I could pause time in those fractions of a second.  Causing that reaction is really what it’s all about, isn’t it?  It shows your true colors and when your intentions are pure you just can’t go wrong.   Living life passionately means you make everyone around you better as a result.

Step up your game, do the unexpected, live life with no regrets, and trust in your instincts.  Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero
